AN ASSORTMENT OF INDIAN WOOD VARIETIES COME TOGETHER, EACH BRINGING ITS INDIVIDUAL STRENGTHS, TO CREATE A BOLD MEDLEY THAT EMPHASIZES TEXTURE

Each of the wood varieties—including rosewood, teak, mango and acacia—was originally used in bridges, homes and other buildings throughout India, most dating back to the colonial era, and salvaged prior to demolition of the structure. Due to the woods’ weathered history and varied character, knotholes, slight cracks and indentations can be expectedand do not compromise the piece’s structural integrity, but rather add character to the design.
